Hi everyone! This summer has gotten away from me a bit, so please forgive my late start to weekly offerings.
The garden looks great in spite of the infiltrating Japanese beetles, but am winning the fight with the tomato horn worms. If you've never seen one of these "beauties" they could make you reconsider growing tomatoes. Ughh!
Moving on, this week I have Romaine lettuce @ $5 / lb. and garlic @ $9/lb. or $5/ half lb. or $1/head.
It's gonna be lighter harvest offerings this year, but more to come later in the fall with winter squash and potatoes.
Have a great week with the cooler temps!
