Power of Produce - Stevenson, WA provides a fun opportunity for children to engage in the local food system through conversations directly with farmers, educational games and demonstrations, and exposure to new fruits and vegetables. Children and youth up to the age of 18 who visit the Stevenson Farmers Market from July 1 through August 26 are invited to participate in the market’s new Power of Pr
oduce Club. Information on the program will be available at the PoP Club tent beginning June 10th. Children enrolled in the program can purchase items that are fresh and in season from local farmers and producers. Recipes, fun activities and more will also be provided. Located in front of the Skamania County Courthouse along SR 14, the Stevenson Farmers Market is open every Saturday from June 10th to October 7th, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Stevenson Farmers Market PoP is made possible by the generous support of The Community Foundation of Southwest Washington, The Rural Development Initiative Leadership Program, Community Enrichment of Klickitat and Skamania County and WSU Extension.
