Hive Five Apiary out of Caroline County

I’m Krystle Hagan, owner of Hive Five Apiary, a small family-run apiary in Caroline County, Maryland. What started with keeping bees has grown into a whole lot more.

At Hive Five, we produce local raw honey along with a growing line of useful, small-batch products made with beeswax and thoughtfully chosen, all natural ingredients, from skin and pet care to kitchen, leather, and home products. Most of what we make started because someone in our family needed it, so we figured out how to make it ourselves.

We’re hands-on, a little unconventional, and probably way too interested in explaining why bees are amazing. Around here, we like to say: “Life’s short. Learn stuff. Make stuff. Do stuff.” and practice what we preach.
