Mission Statement: The Open Air Market of Stockbridge is dedicated to bringing fresh and healthy foods and artisan ventures to the local community and visitors who pass through. We support and encourage growers and entrepreneurs to share their skills and talents in our market to

serve the common good. To promote our local economy.
2. To bring fresh food to the local community.
3. To allow local farmers and artisans the opportunity to expand their market and connect with the community.
4. To strengthen the community by gathering to celebrate Michigan food and artisan skills. Location and Hours:
Open Air Market is located on the square in downtown Stockbridge MI 49285. Hours of operation are every Friday 4 to 7:00 p.m. May through October, depending on vendors. Market Guidelines
The following items are allowed to be sold during the hours and at the location of the Market: Fresh vegetables and fruits, starter plants, flowers, bedding plants, fresh or dried herbs, baked goods, preserves, and other farm products such as dairy products, eggs, meats and syrups. Artisan crafts are determined by the Market Board and are to be sold by the artist or known representative. Product Definitions

1. All fruits and vegetables should be Michigan grown. If not, items must be clearly marked as to place of origin.

2. All other food products must be labeled as to content, origin and producer. Refer to sample attached from the Michigan Department of Agriculture.

3. All lettering on signs are recommended to be at least 2 in. in height and clearly legible.

4. Produce must be fresh. The selling of spoiled, overripe or unusable products is not allowed.

5. Market Manager reserves the right to inspect stalls during Market hours.

Ok. Bare with me, I know it's late in the evening, but I just can't get enough of this little guy. Chick Chick Meow Farm is one of our best vendors, their eggs have made me love eggs again. Okay so I have always loved eggs but theirs is so delicious 😋. Yes you can tell the difference from store bought and yes it is a good difference. Come out to the square for the best oval'ish 🥚's in the business!

Howdy, we know the political climate can be unpredictable and challenging lately. With the current situation affecting so many of our friends and neighbors we would love to help bring a little cheer to our community. If you are personally being affected by the snap/ebt freeze, we gladly want to invite you over to our farm stand to take home a pumpkin for every kid in your immediate family affected by the current freeze situation.
