The Stonington Farmers Market is located at the Island Community Center in Stonington, Maine. Our 2-hour market takes place end-May through end-September on Fridays from 10AM-12PM, rain or shine. Shoppers will be surprised to find not only abundant fresh native produce, meat products, local seafood, cheeses, specialty foods and bakery goods b

ut also a variety of fine artists, craftspeople, and community organizations represented in a lively mix of more than 50 vendors. Hailed as one of the most successful markets across two counties of Maine, the Downeast Business Alliance found the Stonington Farmers Market stood out as being very successful because of the quality of products being offered, the quantity of vendors and variation of goods, as well as the number of return shoppers and the amount of money being spent during a trip. Island Ad-Vantages reported that the DBA researcher Sarah Nugent said on September 3, 2009: “This market really blew us away.”
