Today was our last market day, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end. The weather was beautiful, the market was full of energy, and I cherished every moment spent with all of you.

Goodbyes aren’t my strong suit, but each hug, gift, and kind word meant the world to me. It’s been an absolute honor to be a part of the Sedalia Area Farmers' Market. You’re supporting an incredible group of hardworking people, and I’ve felt nothing but humbled and grateful to be included in that community.

Thank you for making it so hard to say goodbye. For your encouragement over the years. For celebrating the literal fruits of our labor. For sharing recipes, gardening tips, and most importantly—your time and friendship. The connections made here are ones I’ll always treasure and want to continue to grow outside of the market. 🥰

Although our farmers market days have come to an end, we’re happy to keep sharing our homemade products with you—like itch sticks, roll-on balms, stained glass, soaps, and more! We’ll be launching a new page and online store once I’ve finished setting it up, so stay tuned for that.

🌾 Big News from Beulah Valley Farm 🗞️

After much prayer and consideration, we’ve decided to accept an invitation to start an agriculture program at New Paradigm Ministries in Cabool, Missouri. That means our last day at the Sedalia Farmers Market will be Friday, August 1st.

Over the past several years, we’ve discovered not only a deep love for growing produce but also a strong passion for helping people pursue physical, mental, and spiritual health. At the same time, we’ve come to recognize the need for a better balance in our family life. Between my husband working full-time in Jeff City and part-time on the farm, and myself and the kids managing the farm, business, and home, we realized this pace just isn’t sustainable long-term.

It’s been amazing to watch this farm grow from the ground up. We’ve consistently seen our profits grow every year — a reflection of your support and trust. It’s meant the world to us knowing we were helping reconnect people to real food and real farms.

I’ve absolutely loved getting to know so many of you by name, watching your families grow, and sharing life, veggies, and laughs at the market. Serving on the Sedalia Area Farmers’ Market board has also been a true honor — supporting fellow local entrepreneurs has been such a soul-filling part of this journey.

While this may feel like goodbye, we’ll only be about 2.5 hours away — and I’d be more than happy to serve you in a new way if you ever find yourself facing health or relationship struggles. This next chapter is deeply personal to us, and we’re thrilled to bring an agricultural twist to holistic wellness. 🌱

The veggies threw a fit when we missed Tuesday’s market and decided to kick production into overdrive! 😅
We’re feeling better and can’t wait to see you all.

Due to being unwell, I was not able to make my grocery run this week, therefore there will be no gluten free bread today. We will have it back next Friday. Thanks for understanding. 🥰

Sometimes your body just tells you it’s time to rest—and you’ve got no choice but to listen. Pretty sure we’ve got the latest strand of covid thats been going around. So for now, it’s kitty snuggles, broth soup, and letting the world slow down a bit.

We will miss not being at market today but hopefully we will be back at it Friday. The weeds and veggies are calling out to us from bed. 🙃😳🥣💤
