✨ The 2026 Barker’s tee is finally here! ✨

🎨Meet the artist: Elsie, a wonderful five-season veteran specializing in all things Barker’s. Whether it’s tending the fields in the blazing heat, keeping the stand looking bountiful and beautiful, or pulling together a one-of-a-kind mixed bouquet to grace your table top, Elsie tackles it with a smile.

When she’s not on the farm her energy, creativity, and zest for life continues to be inspirational. Paddling, hiking, climbing, surfing, knitting, reading, baking, and creating art - all while balancing a full course load at UNH.

Elsie took the task of designing the 2026 Barker’s Farm tee to a new level when she carved her free hand sketch into a linoleum block which gives the piece a bold yet intricately textured design when printed. The t-shirts are uniquely Barker’s and we hope you’re as proud to don them as we are!

They are 100% cotton, printed locally, and come in Terracotta & Bay Green. Support your local farms and artists! 🌻✨

We want to let our community know about a proposed residential development beside Barker’s Farm at 210 Portsmouth Avenue and explain why we are concerned about its potential wetland impacts.

We are committed to growing the healthiest food for our community and do not want to see that effort be compromised.

In 2025, Stratham residents voted to establish a 25-foot no-disturbance buffer within a total 75-foot setback around the town’s wetlands. These protections help preserve wetland ecosystems and water quality.

The proposed development involves work within multiple protected wetland and setback areas, including the 25’ no-disturbance buffer of a wetland on Barker’s Farm. That wetland feeds an irrigation pond we depend on to grow food. We are concerned about potential changes to water flow and water quality from runoff, construction, snowmelt, and future property maintenance.

One Conditional Use Permit for the shared access road has been approved. The full subdivision and additional wetland permits have not yet been approved and remain before the Planning Board.
We are asking the Planning Board to carefully consider the potential impacts, uphold the wetland protections adopted by Stratham voters, and review all available scientific and engineering information before granting further approvals.
