Trail Angels for PCT Hikers. We are at Sonora Pass MM 1018.1 Bob and Gina took over ownership on April 28, 2022. Gina retired from school teaching in 2020 and Bob retired from his family business in 2020 and they eventually came up to this area in 2021 and worked for Dodge Ridge as a camp host and then at the ski resort. Gina has been coming to this area since she was a young girl and Bob fell in love with it and they both found a way to stay "on the hill".

Thank you for a great weekend! What a blast! We met new people, hugged old friends and had saw some that haven't been back this year. Today is the last day of the sale. Well it's that time of day. Fudge raffle winning number is 61. We have two winners from FB and two from Instagram. Thanks for playing everyone!

Not only is it a perfect day in the neighborhood, but it will be even better when sourdough bread arrives. This is the last weekend that we'll be ordering a large amount so get it while you can! Flavors are traditional, Havarti green onion, lemon blueberry, jalapeno cheddar, bacon gouda, onion swiss, garlic cheddar, and super seed. Thanks Pence Farm for being great partners!

Matt from Connecticut just stayed with us - he's a SOBO - south bound hiker going from Canada to Mexico. He said it took 1 1/2 hours to get a hitch down to the store from the Sonora Pass. Just a reminder, if they look ragged with a BIG backpack on and a bear can and they are at the very top of the pass...they are 99.9% safe to pick up. 😉

Weather Underground says we will have a little precipitation tomorrow but the rest of the weekend looks fantastic!

Saturday events that we know of: Free fishing for everyone, basket weaving at the store, spaghetti feed at Mi Wuk Fire, and of course dinner and a show here.

So many things happening this weekend! We are having The Lack Family play on Saturday at 5 with Sergio’s Taqueria and Catering , The Henderson's on Sunday with Doc’s Dawgs.

We are also having our 20% off Storewide Sale starting on Friday! This is online and storewide.

U.S. Forest Service-Stanislaus National Forest is having basket weaving here on Saturday from 10-12.

Mi Wuk Fire Station is having their Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday from 4-7.

Rain rain, sprinkle our forest! It's not raining, just sprinkling for a bit. Tomorrow and Sunday look great! We forgot to thank the woman who brought us an Apple Fritter and plain cake donut last weekend. Thank you so much! Come up and stay at a glorious cabin right down our lane.
