Hey all,

Happy Spring equinox out there 🌸. It's the time of year when we're usually confirming our dates for the upcoming season, booking our vendors, and just getting very excited to reconvene at the farm again..

Instead, we're facing something we never thought we'd need to address. As there's already some rumors floating around, we thought we'd hop on here to let you all know.. The fate of our beloved Open Air, Open Mic is very much in question.

Please know that we share the same heavy, sinking feeling you might be getting from reading this. It really does hurt to write.. But the reality is that there's been concerns raised by Stroud Township about the growth we've seen, whether or not this should be a permittable use of the property, and also various liability concerns if any worse-case-scenario should happen.

We will certainly keep you all posted as we gain more clarity about these concerns and hopefully continue the conversation with the township in regards to finding a path forward.

This open mic is much more than just an event. It's a community. And as you probably know, if you've been with us for any amount of time, it's difficult to put into words how special this gathering of like-minded folks really is.

But we're going to try. We'll be making our case which we can only hope will be passed up the chain to the board of supervisors so that we can at least have a conversation and address some of their concerns.

Some things are very much worth fighting for! And this happens to be one of them.. If anything is needed directly from you, the community both as a whole or individually we'll also let you know.

Looking forward to tonight!! We're down to the final open mic night of the year at Josie Porter Farm!!

Our outdoor season of live music is winding down for the year, but we couldn't be more excited to celebrate this thriving music community in our area and round out this run of events with you all.

Joining us this evening we're happy to have sandwich co. with eggplant parm, fried brussel sprouts, burgers, and other good stuff to keep us warm!

**Unfortunately Downriver cannot make it tonight. The Goods will have hot apple cider and their signature honey ginger lemonade, and hot coffee and other treats from the Kind Grind!

As usual please bring your own chair, as well as hula hoops, dancing shoes, frisbees, glow things, and anything else that would add to your night and the vibe! 💫🕺💃

We'll have some fires going and heaters up on stage, but please be sure to plan accordingly for some lower temps this time of year. 🔥🍂🍁🌖

Full backline provided for musicians including drums, mics, bass and guitar amp. Make sure to get on the list early if you want a spot to play! (select spots still reserved for newcomers 🙂) 🎤🎸🥁

Hey all, unfortunately we have to call off open mic tonight ☹️☔

The grounds at Josie Porter Farm are just too saturated after the amount of rain we just had.

Let's try again in two weeks for our final Open Air, Open Mic of the season!

And don't forget our end of season festival is this weekend up in Albrightsville, PA. The Pine Ridge Fall Festival 2022 is this Friday through Sunday with many familiar acts and faces!

Wow what a beautiful day to get outside for some live music!! ☀️🌳🎶

We are very much looking forward to getting together again to celebrate the spirit of MUSIC, great local community, the arts, as well as the changing of seasons in the heart of picturesque Cherry Valley at Josie Porter Farm! 🙌🌳🍂🎶

Full backline provided for musicians including drum kit, guitar and bass amp, and stage lighting. Signups start at 6pm with reserved spots for newcomers! 🎤🎸🥁

We're very happy to have The Jubilee Food Trailer- back again tonight with tacos, Mexican rice bowls, and quesadillas! And of course Downriver Brewing Co. / Banter's Hard Cider with their excellent craft beverages.

Hey all!! We'll be seeing what the weather does in the next few hours before making a decision about tonight.

With all the rain we've had lately and no sun to dry anything out, the field and grass areas are still very soaked, and now we have more rain in the forecast before this evening.

We've been so lucky with the weather all season!!! But we do in fact need the rain sometimes too. Stay tuned everybody. Worse comes to worse we'll see you on the 21st :)
