We are excited to have the impeccable Jerry Kelly back to perform at today’s market! Jerry has been a great friend and avid supporter of our market as well as other locals markets in the area. He plays an eclectic mix of blues, rock and folk tunes!

The weather couldnt be better for our market this evening 82 degrees and party cloudy!

We are so excited to have you all out to the market tomorrow! We will have chef Aaron of the Gardeners Harvest doing our dinner service. He will be serving sausages from sunrise farms served in a bun with a variety of toppings and sausage options. We will also have local musician Kevin knight back performing for us as well as our regular list of incredible vendors. We hope to see you there!

We are excited for Thursdays market and community volleyball event! Here is a look at the menu for Wild Altar smash burgers tomorrow. It’s tomato season so we are excited to have fresh tomato on the classic burger as well as our take on the “all beef patty special sauce lettuce cheese” for this weeks special.

As always the ingredients are all local from the gardens at Wild altar and Malcolms Market Garden. The beef this week will be from sun rise farm and the buns made with Virginia grown wheat milled by deep roots milling on the historic Woodsons mill powered by the piney river in Nelson county.

Big ripe summer tomatoes are coming in from Malcolms Market Garden and we are happy to have our resident beekeeper back in the line up! Come support all of these hard working local businesses ❤️
