The Sturbridge Recreation Department is excited to announce the VERY FIRST 🎉 Sturbridge Kids Market! 🎉

Do you have a child who loves to:

💡 Invent
🧁 Design
💎 Craft
🎲 Make games
🖌 Sell artwork
…or dreams of running their own business someday?

Now’s their chance!

🛍 The Sturbridge Kids Market will take place on:
📅 Sunday, August 30, 2025
🕘 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Sturbridge Town Common

The market will be held during the Sturbridge Farmers Market and will feature young entrepreneurs entering grades 3–8 this fall running their very own businesses!

Participants will:
✅ Create and sell their own products
✅ Learn business and financial skills
✅ Gain confidence and real-world experience
✅ Showcase their creativity to the community

🎯 Participation is limited to 10 vendors for Year 1, and applications will be reviewed to create a fun and diverse market experience. MUST be a Sturbridge Resident.

📅 Applications are open now through June 18th
📬 Selected participants will be notified by July 1st

This is going to be SUCH a fun addition to the community and we cannot wait to see the creativity our young entrepreneurs bring to the market!
