Did you know the blooming period for lavender is VERY short? Like 2 weeks! And it only blooms one time a year. Also, fun fact, it’s not the blooms that hold the sent but the buds. For maximum sent retention you want to cut when about half the bush has bloomed and mid morning, when the oil retention is at its highest.
