The Suffolk Farmers’ Market is OPEN this Saturday, and we’re not letting a little rain stop us! (as long as weather conditions remain safe for our vendors and shoppers!) — but for now, grab your umbrella and come join us supporting local vendors who will be offering a variety of plants, homemade treats, local honey, and much more!

I am not one to just put my personal business out in public. This passed weekend a potential customer contacted me sounding very adamant about my product and wanting to make a big order Mrs. Pickle and I were excited because we want to grow our business to a manageable level until my retirement from active duty military. This person then proceeded to attempt to pay for her order with a check, after informing this person that regrettably I cannot accept her check because we don’t accept checks and I informed her that we can take credit cards or cash then this person proceeded to cancel the request saying that she had nothing but a check from her business to pay with and told me “don’t bother” and stopped contacting me. I am not sure how real her business was or if she was trying to scam me with a fake check, I just want to warn all my small business owner friends here to keep vigilant. Thanks for listening.

Good morning everyone, yesterday Mrs. Pickle and I have done something that has been requested by a few customers but I was afraid to make but I got over my fear and here it is the first batch of horseradish Pickles. It is a small batch and for now it is only on the 16oz jar.
