Friday has arrived and so have the usual suspects.

Store + kitchen open 6am–6pm. Hot breakfast sandwiches are ready to grab, SPAM musubi is stocked up, and the pastry case is doing what it does best.

And because this feels important: there are homemade apple cider donuts in the case today. We’d like that noted for the record.

Plenty of grab-and-go goodness waiting for you if the day is moving a little too fast. Order ahead online or give us a call at 603-847-3053 and we’ll happily have things ready.

Happy Thursday from your corner of Route 9, where life has been lifing so aggressively we’re beginning to wonder if we accidentally subscribed to the premium package.

Today we’ll have the usual suspects ready to grab: SPAM musubi, hot fresh breakfast sandwiches, homemade pastry, and cold deli sandwiches ready for lunch. We’re also happy to make any cold sandwiches from our menu for you. Want breakfast at 3pm? I can do that. 😀🥴

Online ordering will be turned off after 10am for the remainder of the day.

Our cook has to be out for the day. Tiny team life over here. We’re sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support more than you know.

Just a little reminder from our corner of Route 9 about our Pay It Forward board. If you need food, please grab a card. Truly. No questions, no judgment, no explanation needed. We all hit rough patches sometimes, and this little community continues to take care of one another in really beautiful ways.

Lots of good things happening in village/country store world around our little corner of the region, and we wanted to take a moment to celebrate it.

Huge congratulations to Gilsum Village Store on their soft opening, and to Jenna and Tyler on being the new owners of the Dublin General Store . These places are not “competition” to us. We’re all serving our communities in different, meaningful, deeply human ways. Different towns, different stories, different shelves, same belief that small community spaces still matter. We love seeing it.

Meanwhile over here on Route 9, the great pressure washing extravaganza was delayed by yesterday’s rain, because apparently even power washers answer to New England weather.

Kitchen and store are rolling along today, 6am–6pm. Hot breakfast sandwiches, SPAM musubi ready to grab, homemade pastry filling the case, sandwiches, coffee, and all the usual tiny-team country store chaos. Feel free to order ahead.

Friendly Monday reminder: we’re closed tomorrow… because it’s Monday. We are creatures of habit over here on Route 9.

That said, you may still see some suspicious levels of productivity around the store. We’re finally having a very well-needed pressure wash done on basically every surface that hasn’t actively run away yet. After almost 100 years of country store life, Route 9 weather, pastry flour, pollen, mud, and whatever exactly lives in parking lots like ours… it’s time.

So if you drive by and see water flying, grime fighting for its life, and us discovering colors we forgot the building actually had, don’t worry. Nothing is wrong. We’ve just chosen cleanliness for one brief shining moment.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day. We’re especially grateful for those who served, sacrificed, and the families who carry that sacrifice with them. Thank you. We’re also grateful for this little community that continues to show up for our tiny corner of Route 9. We’ll see you Tuesday at 6am… hopefully several shades cleaner.

Good morning, just a few rainy Memorial Day weekend Sunday reminders and thoughts from your friendly tiny country store attached to a house on Route 9. Will has Sam and Dave ready to go on the record player this morning.

The kitchen is closed for live ordering today (as always on Sundays), but we came prepared for the rain, the holiday weekend, and whatever this weather situation is doing.

The warmer is loaded with breakfast sandwiches, there’s plenty of SPAM musubi ready to grab, homemade pastry filling the case, deli sandwiches in the cooler, chili ready to grab and heat up, and lots of local goodies throughout the store.

So whether you’re hiding from the rain, feeding houseguests, avoiding cooking, or just need an excuse to leave the house for coffee and snacks… we’ve got you. Next week we pick up the Ruckus, what do people think its nickname should be? We are taking the next few days to look at routes, and other logistics for delivery, we are pretty excited! 🛵

Good morning from your tiny country store on Route 9.

We are open 6am–6pm today with breakfast sandwiches, SPAM musubi, homemade pastry, full kitchen, grab-and-go favorites, coffee, local goodies, and the usual tiny country store chaos. Will has Dr. Know2026 from Oxnard on the record player, very peppy. 🥴

Yesterday was a little bonkers in the very best way, and we just wanted to say thank you. Truly. Your support means more than you know.

A gentle reminder that we are not a big box store with pallets hidden in the back somewhere… mostly because we don’t have a back somewhere. Zero storage. None. We basically operate in a very committed game of inventory Tetris.

Thank you for supporting our little spot on Fury Road. We appreciate you more than you know. Take good care this holiday weekend.

Good morning!
Back to normal around here today. Kitchen and store open 6am–6pm, pastry case is filling back up, and we’ve got breakfast sandwiches and SPAM musubi ready to grab. Full menu is up and running, including pizza! But let’s not order one at 7am, that’s Ryan’s domain. 🥴

Also, congratulations to everyone who correctly guessed the end cap situation… candy was the answer. I’ve been throwing a lot at Will lately, and somehow he keeps rolling with it.

A few more little tweaks around the store over the next few days as we continue settling things in for the season. Thank you, as always, for the continued support.

Well… this may either be a brilliant small-town idea or the beginning of a very specific Route 9 story we’ll all be telling for years.

We purchased a Honda Ruckus with a sidecar to start offering local delivery from our store. Picture Will zipping around Sullivan and surrounding areas with sandwiches in the back and probably way too much confidence.

We’d love to make local food and essentials a little more accessible while also adding another small-town service to the mix.

We’re curious:
• Would you use local delivery?
• What kinds of things would you want delivered most?
• How far out should we go?

And most importantly… how ridiculous do we think Will is going to look driving a scooter down Fury Road with a bag full of SPAM Musubi?
