Perfect beach read at the perfect Island beach stop? Yes please. 📕🏝️ I'm an OG Co-Op fan & am so excited to have my book WALK OF FAME at one of my fave places. Perfect weekend plan = head to the Co-Op, pick up a frosé & a sandwich, grab my book & hit the beach! (Or the pool or the boat...you get the idea 🌊)

My world. Genevieve was late to sign up & her only choice was to jam w/ older kids. They said give it a shot. She said she would try it out. This place is amazing. Now she loves these older kids and it’s her favorite part of the week. They have been so sweet to her. Today was the concert at The Music Farm and she rocked. She was so excited!! Sorry I didn’t get better footage but I was crying w/ happiness as she was really rocking. Josh, her coach, has been so positive. I can’t play a recorder. School of Rock in Mt. Pleasant has been so great for us. She is loving it. The staff is amazing and the kids are super special. It’s a great environment so I have to let you all know. They have no idea who I am, and are just the greatest. If your kids are interested in music, reach out to them. Our 7 year old is obsessed. . We can’t wait to continue w/ SOR.

I ❤️ this team. Wanted to praise my team for a moment as I believe it’s something very special they share & they deserve applause & I’m actually in awe of them & how they work together and cover for each other. Yesterday we needed 15 to 20 employees. It was like a busy day in July. Saturday we had 7 employees. And 5 of them do not work at The Co Op on SI regularly. Let me explain how amazing these people are. One is a paralegal that used to work for The Co Op years ago. She was happy to help Sam & SI. One is in med school and was an ex employee who was happy to help. Another is in the medical field but is married to The Co Op GM in Nexton and was happy to help out on Sullivan’s. On Easter!!!! The person running the deli ALL WEEKEND was a senior in high school who got permission from her parents to work as she let them know how short staffed we were. 2 others were GMs from other shops as they new it was spring break and the island would be nuts, so they staffed their shops as well as they could and showed up to help Sullivan’s. So the ENTIRE staff came in to help on Sullivan’s as they knew they needed help. That is mind blowing to me for others to spend their weekend helping out Sullivan’s when they all have other jobs. That is extremely special and I’ve never been so proud to be part of whatever this is. I DO NOT lead or make any decisions while working in The Co Op. I only run food or work on the line. They do NOT do this for me. They do this for each other and it’s very special to be around. I heard 100 times this weekend “thanks for helping us out”. And “of course I’ll always be here for you all”. They tell each other “love you” while listening to very filthy hip hop in the kitchen. We are a silly island deli and they have each other’s backs like something you would see in a war movie. It’s actually making me tear up. The positivity when there were 100 tickets on the line was incredible. Line out the door the entire day. And they did a pretty incredible job. This is the proudest I’ve been to say I work w/ them. They all are amazing ❤️.

Our stickers just came in for all of you that come in off the beach and do a 💩 in our bathroom. I’m all for a nice #2 but I really think a💩 are for paying customers. Right? I mean there are some brutal poos out there. So if you are not a customer but use our restroom for a nice 💩, please grab a sticker and own it. Be proud. If not a staff member may slap one of these on your back. Me included. Sullivan’s does have public restrooms across the street at town hall but I get it, you want to 💩 at The Co Op. We have ONE bathroom! It’s the worst place on the island to poo! I promise all the other restaurants have better bathrooms so the least you can do is wear one of our stickers w/ pride. I think we had probably 100 bathroom peeps today that were not customers an that’s life, but a 💩 is a lot of work for our staff. Thanks. Much love!

Wow. It was an April Fools joke! And it wasn’t even that bad. Unreal. People are furious at me for posting that a Goose Creek resident should be fined $250 for claiming they live in Charleston. People are so upset w/ that. It’s a joke people. $250 is a joke. I got 75 DMs about how wrong that was of me to post that. It’s 2026, I thought we were allowed to say things again. No? I cannot believe how upset people continue to get at me for posting stuff like this. It’s incredible. I thought it was funny. The best part is I didn’t even write it. Someone on the team did. I wouldn’t ever think to fine someone from Goose Creek $250 for claiming they live in Charleston. It’s funny but yes it’s wrong. But funny. But wrong. You are right it’s wrong to say that. So I apologize and will be better. I’ll agree w/ all 75 of you that fining someone from Goose Creek pretending to live in Charleston shouldn’t have a fine of $250. That is wrong. The fine should be $750. Apologies for such a low number and I’ll be better next time. Cheers!
