All meat is either USDA inspected, USDA exempt or Florida Department of Agriculture approved. Florida Fresh Meat Company produces organically raised, grass fed Angus beef, grass fed lamb and goat, and natural pastured pork. Also available through our network of local ranches and farms is 100% pastured duck and chicken as well as farm raised, phosphate and pre

servative free Florida farm raised gator. Our beef carcasses, once processed, are hung in an air ventilated refrigerated locker for up to 28 days for our “old school” dry-aging process. The beef is then cut into gourmet roasts, steaks and Angus Burger. Each cut of beef, whether roast or steak is individually packed in a vacuum bag and sealed for freshness. Beef is available by the individual cut, various Variety Packs or by the whole, half, quarter or eighth beef. We use only hair sheep lamb, allowing for a light flavorful taste. Our pigs are fed whole veggies and whole grains, never leftovers or waste products. Our chickens are also pasture raised using real rotating field tractors. Our relationships with various like-minded ranchers throughout the state have allowed us to develop a consistent supply of meat available in bulk or individual cuts. All of our products are available throughout the entire year.

Originating in 2009, the Florida Fresh Meat Company has grown and blossomed into a thriving family of local sustainable farms; now recognized as The Florida Fresh Family of Farms! From meager beginnings of a pickup truck, one freezer containing one head of grass fed beef and vending at local North Central Florida Farmers Markets, the start up local grass fed beef company has grown into the largest independent “one stop shop” of local sustainable proteins. A true testament of Feeding Our Community From Within Our Community!

The Florida Fresh Family of Farms is a coordinated effort of Jan Costa, the Florida Fresh Meat Company and many independent local ranchers and farmers.

Our gourmet grass fed cattle are a result of a partnership with 3rd and 4th generation cattlemen; Danny Cowart (Cowart Ranch), John Tilton (JK Farms), Lint Jerrels (Jerrels Ranch), Jackie Fields (Big Country Ranch) and more!
