🌱 “What do you grow?” 🌿

We get asked this all the time, so here’s your answer! 👇

We’re planting NOW for Fall and we can’t wait to start harvesting in late October! 🍂🥬 We also plant during Winter & Spring growing seasons.

At O’Steen’s, we’re not just a Market — we’re small, multigenerational Florida farmers. Our family has been growing on the same farm since 1936, and we’re committed to growing the cleanest, most nutrient-dense and delicious vegetables we possibly can. 🌱

✅️ We grow as clean as we possibly can — we do not use pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilizers.

♻️ Even our mulch is a little different! What may look like plastic in the fields is actually biodegradable mulch film made from non-GMO vegetables.

Instead of relying on synthetic fertilizers, we focus on building and feeding our soil through companion planting, cover crops, manure, compost, minerals and beneficial bacteria.

🌿 We use humic and fulvic minerals, North Atlantic seaweed, and locally made organic fertilizers made from real food to nourish our soil and our crops.

🚫 For pest control, we use a natural deterrent made with castor oil blended with garlic, cinnamon and clove oils.

And here’s a funny farm fact: If you visit us and suddenly think Olive Garden opened a bakery nearby, that probably means our nephew Noah has sprayed the fields. 🤣😁

🌿 Florida heirloom mustard greens
🟣 Purple top turnips
🥦 Broccoli

🧅 Sweet onions
