Happy Tuesday folks! The next market day is this Saturday May 2nd 7am-1. Bring your home things or gather up your trinkets & come make an extra dollar or two! If you’re not setting up a table come over see all the good stuff. If you plan on setting up tell us in the comments so folks can see who all will be there. Burgett Farms will not be there due to family commitments.

Good Saturday Morning! We are planning to go in and set up as normal this morning as soon as we have a break in the rain..hopefully it's almost over! We can't wait to see you today!!

Good Sunny Tuesday Afternoon Friends! Just wanted to give a huge shout out to Kroys Kreative Signs for our new Farmers and Flea Market Signs for the 2026 season! They are awesome..Thank you Pam N Chuck York!! Keep an eye out for them this week, we are getting very excited for the opening day at the Sumner Car Show this Saturday..we can't wait to see you 😀

Good Sunny Cold afternoon, it's absolutely beautiful outside if you are looking out the window😬 As Ms. Mert had mentioned in her post last night, I have been in contact with the local Serve Safe Instructor Lisa Shook and she does have a class coming up but it is very short notice but does have openings. It is this upcoming Friday the 20th and the 27th of March 9:30 to 2:30 and you must attend both to be able to take the test. This will be at Olney Central College, please call 618-395-7777 to get enrolled. Lisa is also working on getting another class together for April and as soon as she knows I will post with the information. I hope everyone is having a wonderful afternoon and we can't wait to get started with the 2026 Market season 😀

Good Evening Everyone!! Well, we thought we were done with Winter, but it came back for a few days. But that won't spoil my excitement for the start of the 2026 Sumner Farmers & Flea Market!!! Saturday APRIL 18th will be our first day and we will run every other Saturday 7am-1pm with Oct 3rd being our last day for the year, I will pin the dates at the top.. As you can see from the page name, we have changed it to make sure to include our flea market venders & buyers. If you would like to come set up with us it is FREE! If you plan to have foods items there are licenses you will need, A Food Service Management and then a Cottage license from Lawerence County Health Dept. Sydni Shelby is who you will contact for that. If you need a FSM class Joni will be getting in touch with one of our local instructors to get dates on her classes. Also, on the 18th the city of Sumner will be having their car show, so our set up will be a little different. Make plans to come set up with your products, antiques, or clutter....one man's junk is another man's treasure!!
