Happy thanksgiving everyone. I am thankful our lovely ladies are still laying yummy eggs in this cold weather. They are probably grateful for the heat lamp in the coop.

We are moving the egg box from the farm stand to the entry way of our house so they don't get too cold. Feel free to stop by anytime and pick up eggs. There are two dozen out there right now.

Wow, it's been a month since our last posting. Well, the summers winding down. Got some scary hot chilis ripening up. Tomatoes took a hit this year, but hey, what can you do. Eggplants looking nice. Our summer squash was a bad variety, and we ended up with a ton of gourds. Eh, the chickens have enjoyed them a great deal, so I can't quite see it as a waste. Grapes? Thriving. Pears? Thriving. Apples. Thriving. Looking forward to good fall, and cleaning up after a rough and tumble summer. Thanks to our neighbors for helping out. We would be a mere w**d patch without you. Btw, spicy green beans will be in no short supply this fall.
