What’s new for produce today? Stop by 10:45-2:00 and take a look! You’ll also find a selection of baked goods, jams and condiments, meat and eggs, crafts. Grab some lunch by Russell BBQ and settle in at the picnic tables to enjoy some music by the talented Mississippi Mike Wolf.

Pickling cukes decided it was time! Suddenly we are scrambling to keep up with picking before they transition into baseball bats. They’ve been trying to keep up with their neighbors, the Zucchinis.
We’ll have a plethora (never pass up an opportunity to use that word!) of pickling and slicing cukes tomorrow at the Superior Downtown Farmers’ Market, Wednesday, July 29, 10:45-2:00, Banks Ave. Some other things too: snap peas, green beans, the beginning of the cantaloupes, beets, broccoli, cabbage, kale, kohlrabi, tomatoes 🍅! Maple Syrup and all the other things. Stop by and say hello to David and Josh. I’m staying home to try to get a handle on the pickling cukes before they’re overgrown. The race is on!
