What a fantastic time we had at Surry Marketplace celebrating National Read Across America 2025 with Ms. Megan and the Blackwater Regional Library Bookmobile! Our community friends had a blast exploring the bookmobile, signing up for library cards, picking out free books, making bookmarks and sharing in the joy of reading.

A huge congratulations to our raffle winners—what a fun way to celebrate the power of books! Thank you to Ms. Megan and the library team for bringing the magic of reading to our community.
