To all of our concerned customers and friends, we wanted you to know that the police were contacted about the accident at the stand on Monday, we do have insurance and are working hard to get back open. We are waiting on contractors for estimates before an insurance person will let us move to repairs. As of now, the building is deemed unsafe for humans, so we are unable to reopen. We apologize for any inconvenience.
We greatly appreciate the love and support. We know that Murphy's Farm Market was SO MUCH MORE than just a Farm Market to our community. Yes, our first goal has always been to bring the freshest, highest quality produce possible to our local community and recently branching out into further communities at various events, like the Dalton Farms Tulip Festival. It was a safe haven for so many; a place to find a friend who will lend an ear; a place that other small business are able to grow their business; where we supported non-profit organizations like Dogs of Honor who help support local Veterans with service dogs; We supported Holy Grounds coffee, who help employ special needs adults, which brings a sense of purpose and joy to their lives, a sense of family; similar to the family you'd find at Murphy's. We were the rest stop on a long journey home and a cheerful "hello! how have you been?" when you've had a hard day. We support other local farmers by bringing their fresh produce to your plates as fast as possible which then feeds their families. And every single one of us LOVE what we do at Murphy's. It's more than a job, it's more than a ministry, it's our life.
And even though our building is damaged and it has stunned us a bit, I can guarantee you that we are not done yet!
Look for Murphy's Farm Market at Dalton Farms' Tulip Festival every weekend in April.
Again, we appreciate the concern, love and support. Please keep your eyes 👀 open and call Woolwich Twp police if you see the truck. It has damage on a rear taillight
