Twisted Taste My special twist on seasonings with ingredients from my gardens Hand crafted seasonings made with as many home grown ingredients as possible.

I started making these for my family and friends. The requests became so numerous that I've decided that I could be on to something that will bring a smile to many more people. I grow my own peppers and other ingredients in my three very large gardens. Smoke them using the trimmings from my fruit trees and them dehydrate and process. These are the base of most of my seasonings.

French Dip sandwich’s tonight. Boneless roast rubbed yellow mustard for a binder and Twisted Taste Beef Buzz. Sous vide for 22 hours at 135 and finished for 12 minutes in a 500 deg oven. Made mushroom onion au jus with the beef juices. Home made rolls using a twist on my focaccia recipe.

When I don't know what to make for dinner I make it up. Sometimes I actually have a hit with the family. Tonight was one of those! Shredded chicken zucchini patties: 3C shredded zucchini well drained. 3C shredded chicken, 1.5 onions chopped, 1/4 # bacon, 2C flour, 1.5T baking powder, 2T TT FaGhettaGarlic. Render the bacon in a deep pan and add the onion and clarify. I used chicken thighs with the skin pulled off and braised them in the onion and bacon, covered. In a large bowl - zucchini, add the juices from braising the chicken. Shred the chicken and add along with the onion & bacon, mix well. Add three eggs and mix. Add the flour, baking powder and FaGhettaGarlic and mix until just combined. Drop in a skillet, spread to patty size with hot oil and fry on each side. Garnish with a couple of dashes of FaGhettaGarlic and serve. Made 8-10 servings - Kids loved it!

Smoking a ham roast and some pork & beans. Not just any beans but 6 cans - on sale at HyVee for $.50, with 1/2 stick of butter, 1/2 # of bacon, 1/2 jar of molasses, 1/2C brown sugar, 2T yellow mustard and 1/2 bottle of TT Smokin'. They should be done in about 10-12 hours.

Wasn't sure what to make for dinner but had chicken thighs so deboned them, mixed FaGhettaGarlic, sautéed spinach and mozzarella with Ricotta, stuffed the chicken and rolled it up. Placed them in a pan and covered with marinara and some more motz, baked at 400 for 45 min. Huge hit with the kids!

OK, evidently Butt Rub is Trademarked by another seasoning maker and I've been told that I can't use the name. Now for the fun part; time for a contest! We have to come up with another name for my pork rub! I'll send the winner a free bottle of my pork roast rub! Let the games begin!
