It’s was a fun ride The Butchery & Pop Up at The Butchery opening up the store was both the most challenging and rewarding ventures I have ever embarked upon. At the end of it, my hair is grey and my family is bigger. I will make it a point to thank everyone personally that needs to be thanked!

For our customers thank you 🙏 we still love ❤️ you all! You gave us the opportunity to serve our community by keeping us in business! You allowed me to live my dream, and now I will dream another dream. Bye for now, not forever.

Best of luck to the new business going into our old spot, enjoy the area and all its awesome people as we did! If you’re good to the community they will support you!

The Butchery signed lease in 2016, opened to the public 2017-closed 2023 (storm damage) SOLD all assets and cleared from lease officially closed 2024!

A year ago today the weather knocked us out permanently. Although I David Hubbard Jr. had all the intentions of reopening, time, insurance company, life, and well, the fire to do it daily, took that away. Passion is what built the place from a full remodel/build out, to adding the Pop Up space, to adding the beer and wine license, to countless great conversations with our customers, to all the catering and events we were a part of, and most importantly my family, the passion that they showed in helping me build my dream. It’s not with sadness that we say good bye it’s with pride that we Julie, Bella, Brody, and now Bruno, and I say till next time. Till we MEAT again? Or maybe just see each other in the community, we’re still around, we still patronize all the Keego and sylvan business that make the community what it is!
As we say good bye for now, we/I cannot go without saying thank you to so many, like a great amount of people, that helped us build my dream. I cannot list them all, but know this it took a village!
