Peanut oil is superior for fried haddock (all fried seafood, frankly) because its high smoke point allows for a crispy exterior with minimal oil absorption, while its slightly nutty flavor doesn’t overpower the delicate taste of the fish. We’re so grateful that peanuts take one for the team.
