Better late than never 💃🏽✨

Hi friends,

Sorry for the late drop, but she’s here.

This was officially our busiest meal prep week yet. We squeezed in an extra household (because apparently I don’t know how to say no) for a total of 11 meal prep households plus one very special elopement meal prep. Congrats, Ivy & Ryan. 🥂

Thank you for being patient while I got this week’s menu together. I saw all the DMs asking if the email had gone out yet, and honestly? It makes my little heart so happy to know She Fancy has become part of your weekly routine.

So, with that being said — here’s the menu.

You know the drill:

* Returning clients get first dibs on our 10 weekly spots.
* Email me your order.
* I’ll send an invoice.
* Payment is due Friday to reserve your Tuesday pickup or delivery.

The boring stuff:

* $125 minimum order
* Delivery within 10 miles is $10
* $1 per additional mile

This week’s menu has a little Italian summer energy because if I’m being completely honest, I’d really rather be wandering around Europe with a spritz in hand right now.

Instead, I’m here making Chicken Caesar Lasagna and dreaming.

As for what else we’ve been up to…

This week we popped up at Stay Fresh for their gallery opening fundraiser benefiting the Kirk Park Skate Park, catered a couple baby showers, put together a handful of DIY pickle bars, catered a wedding, and wrapped up a private chef dinner.

No rest for the wicked.

And for those of you with whom we have developed a completely normal and healthy parasocial relationship…

The twins had their four-month checkup this week and are both right on their growth curves. Happy, healthy babies who are finally sleeping through the night.

We are truly blessed.

PS — we’re hosting a little garage sale this weekend (more details coming soon) and we’ll have the hot dog cart out as well.

This weird stretch between Memorial Day and summer break is honestly one of the busiest times of year.

School concerts.
Field days.
Teacher gifts.
Dance recitals.
End-of-year parties.
Sports banquets.
“Wait… the project is due TOMORROW?” energy.

And somehow in the middle of all that, you’re still expected to grocery shop, cook dinner, clean the kitchen, and feed yourself like a fully functioning person.

Our weekly meal prep is for people who want their fridge stocked with beautiful, actually-good food without spending their entire week planning, shopping, prepping, cooking, and cleaning.

Weekly Meal Prep Menu Drop 👀

Hi friends —

Consider this your official permission slip to stop pretending you’re going to lovingly grocery shop, prep, cook, clean, and somehow still have energy left to romanticize your life this week.

This menu is for the girls with too much going on:

the moms running from pickup to sports to work

the couples trying not to order takeout for the fifth time

the single girls who deserve better than random snack plates and iced coffee for dinner

the busy women trying to make life feel a little softer, prettier, easier, and more delicious

Basically: chef-made dinners, stocked fridges, and
one less thing to think about this week.

and wrapped the weekend with another graduation graze

Honestly? We’re tired in the best way.

This is something we’ve been slowly, intentionally building behind the scenes — tweaking, growing, evolving week after week into something we’re really proud of. Thoughtful food, no grocery store chaos, no “what’s for dinner?” panic at 6pm. Just really good food ready when you need it.

It’s giving elevated comfort food 👀

Hi friends —

This week’s meal prep menu is outtttt and honestly there’s some heavy hitters on here.

We’ve got:
• meatloaf + mashed potatoes with caramelized onion bacon jam
• marry me chicken pasta
• thai shrimp cakes
• mediterranean vegetable lasagna
• dirty martini dip back on the menu because apparently some of you are emotionally attached to it (same)

Plus all the usual things that make life easier:
salads, snack boxes, wraps, soup, overnight oats, cookie dough, etc.

A few reminders:
• orders close Friday 5/15
• pickup + delivery is Tuesday 5/18
• delivery is $10
• limited availability each week
• $125 household minimum

I know I say this every week but meal prep really is meant to make your life easier. A stocked fridge hits different when your week gets chaotic and suddenly dinner is already handled.

“You have FIVE kids?!”

At this point, if I had a dollar for every time I heard it, I could probably fund everyone’s college tuition.

Yes, we have five kids.
Yes, we’re exhausted.
Yes, we’re running a business while trying to keep tiny humans alive, loved, fed, supported, and emotionally intact.
And no… we basically never sleep.

Lately Chris and I have been joking about the phrase “futuremaxxing” — building a life that maybe feels a little chaotic now, but is setting up our future selves for something really beautiful: a loud house, full tables, traditions, celebrations, stability, and a family that feels safe.

Some days are harder than I know how to explain. The mental load of motherhood, business ownership, partnership, grief, healing, and trying to be everything to everyone can feel impossibly heavy. But even in the hardest moments, I wouldn’t change a thing.

We’re creating the family we both deeply longed for in different ways.
For me, I’m becoming the mom I always wished I had.
For Chris, we’re rebuilding the warmth and closeness he misses so much after losing his parents years ago.

And somewhere in the middle of all the chaos, I’m realizing motherhood is reparenting me too.
Learning presence.
Learning softness.
Learning that stability doesn’t have to feel temporary.
Learning how to grow where I’m planted.

Sure, hearing “mom” 100,000 times a day can make me want to hide in the pantry for five minutes of silence… but being loved, trusted, needed and chosen by these little humans is the greatest privilege of my life.

Happy Mother’s Day to all moms, mother figures, caregivers, bonus moms, grieving moms, hopeful moms, and the children who made us who we are. 🤍
