From the moment you enter, you’ll know this is a special place unlike any other in the CNY region. We strive to create an intimate and unique experience for every customer and are dedicated to offering the highest quality products and services available. Our mission is to extend our family tradition to you and bring the best of Italy to your table. The Lombardi passion for providing authentic Ital

ian goods began with our grandfather, Elviro, in 1930. After spending several years as an apprentice in Naples, he opened the first Lombardi’s General Store in Calabria, where he also met his wife, Rosina, and began his family. Produce, olive oil, and wine were but a few of the staples he offered his local clientele. The emphasis was always on quality, unsurpassed selection, and customer service. Based on those fundamentals he garnered great success, while passing these values on to his children. In 1955, Elviro and Rosina brought their family, which now included 8 children, to New York aboard the Andrea Doria with hopes of transplanting the business and achieving the American Dream. Several years later, in 1970, Elviro’s three eldest sons founded Lombardi’s Import Market on the northside of Syracuse, where it still remains today. They built a strong following by offering a wide variety of authentic Italian imports and catering to customer requests for hard-to-find products from all across the Mediterranean. Over fifty years later, fulfilling the needs of our clientele is still our number one priority. Everything on our shelves is given the Lombardi stamp of approval, so you can always be sure if we offer it, our family has tasted it and would love to tell you about it. Come in today and experience for yourself the same traditions that have made us a Syracuse landmark. Ci viediamo,
The Lombardi Family
