Here is a fact for today:

I am not very fond of sink water and when I use it I put it through a Zerowater filter to take out all contaminants. I do not cook with sink water unless it has been cleansed through the filter, I wouldn't dare to grow my garden with it either.
I do collect rainwater and use it for watering the plants. The rainwater is tested before use, but 99% of the time it comes out as 0% contaminants.

Not many people are familiar with the Zerowater filter, but many are familiar with the Brita filter. Either work amazingly.
