Local Vendor Spotlight: Lucky Goat Coffee Co. ☕

Born in Tallahassee, Lucky Goat began roasting coffee in 2010 with a simple goal, to make great coffee and provide quality beans to local cafés. Today, the company continues to roast its coffee locally while serving customers throughout the Florida Panhandle.

We are proud to carry selections like Midnight Express and Ethiopia Wush Wush. Choosing locally roasted coffee supports the people and businesses that help keep Tallahassee’s community thriving.

Come connect with your community at Community Co-op Market! 💚 Our recurring events are free and open to everyone:

🎤 Second Friday at 6:30 PM: Poetry Night. On select months, Lunchbox hosts a special edition called Food for Thought.

♟️ Third Friday at 6:30 PM: Community Chess Night, co-hosted by our produce manager, Hope.

🎲🍲 Last Friday at 5 PM: Bring Your Own Board Game and Community Potluck. Bring a favorite game, a dish to share or simply bring yourself!

We would love to see our community use this space in new ways. If you are interested in vending, tabling free of charge or hosting a class at the store, email Acacia, also known as Tree, at [email protected].

Have another event idea? We’re open to suggestions! These gatherings are all about creating meaningful connections, meeting new faces and enjoying time together.

Local Vendor Spotlight: Orchard Pond 💚

We are proud to carry local staples from Orchard Pond, a family-owned organic farm located in Tallahassee’s Red Hills region. What began as an organic garden in 2008 has grown into a local favorite offering products such as raw, unfiltered honey, organic olives, olive tapenade, pesto, granola and more.

This is what Community Co-op Market is all about, connecting our neighbors with local farmers, makers and vendors while keeping more of our dollars within the community. It is also about supporting one another and treating the people around us with care, dignity and respect.

Our next Co+operative Values weekend is a cut above! With Labor Day coming up on Monday, September 7, this is the perfect time to stock up for cookouts, family meals, or a few freezer favorites.

From September 4 through September 6, everyone can save 10% on all regular-priced fresh and frozen meat and seafood. No membership is required to shop.
