Our Story
We have been raising Longhorn cows for about 12 years on land that has been family farmed for 4 generations. As a retired coal miner and retired teacher, this venture has become our passion.
We got our first longhorn animals and longhorn advice from friends and the herd has just continued to grow. We appreciate their mellow temperament, hardiness and resistance to disease.
It’s our mission to raise cattle while responsibly taking care of the environment and provide top quality, locally grown meat at a fair and reasonable price to the families of Southern Illinois and the surrounding area.
