Farm fresh eggs have: Less cholesterol, less saturated fat, more vitamin A, E and D, more omega-3 and more beta carotene than store bought eggs. Free range birds are healthier . Happy, healthy hens lay better tasting & higher quality eggs. Farm fresh eggs at your certified farmers market are generally only a day or two old, while the ones you pick up elsewhere may already be well over a month old ! When you purchase eggs at your farmers markets ,not only are you supporting a local farmer, you are buying one of the most economical sources of protein available .
