Ken made this reproduction broom-making machine (circa early 1800s) from recycled, old oak pallets. It even has a wooden gear.

This is the latest edition broom/besom from Ken's Creations. It's 26 inches, made with all natural broomcorn (not dyed), and has a sassafras handle. This "cobweb" style broom makes a great starter besom for casting circles and for hanging over your doorway for protection. Come and see us. Are you ready for tomorrow's full moon? This is a Blue Moon, the second full moon in May. It is also a micro moon, the smallest full moon of 2026. It will appear smaller and not quite as bright, because it is further away from the earth at its peak, which will be 4:45 am, Sunday morning. I took the photo this morning of purple clematis blooming in my garden with a blue crescent moon. Come in and see us. We're open Thursdays and Fridays from 10am-5pm and Saturdays from 10am-4pm. This beautiful small altar was handcrafted by Ken from a large slice of Indiana sassafras with 3 sassafras "legs", sealed, with bark intact. It is the perfect size for small spaces. I have it set up with the Goddess, represented by one of Ken's sandblasted bottles, and the four elements: earth: crystals; air: cone incense burner; fire: candles; and water: add to bottle. This is Lavender Mint (Mentha piperita 'Lavender'). I just dug up an entire garden bed of this lovely floral scented mint. (I knew better than to plant it in the ground, so I finally moved it to a couple of pots.) These photos are what is "leftover"; lots of starts to share for a minimal price. This mint was grown in partial sun and well drained soil. It can be used fresh or dried as a tea or culinary herb and when in flower, is attractive to butterflies.
