🌟 A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR VENDORS & CUSTOMERS! 🌟
We want to take a moment to thank everyone who came out and supported the Terrytown Farmers Market this Labor Day weekend! 🇺🇸❤️
Holiday weekends can be challenging for any market, and this weekend we were missing a few of our regular flagship vendors, including our usual fresh produce vendors, as many of our vendors and customers were out of town enjoying the holiday. We truly appreciate the vendors who showed up, set up, and continued to provide our community with great products—and we appreciate every customer who came out and supported them!
We also want to address some comments regarding vendor pricing. Each vendor is an independent small business, and they set their own prices based on their products, ingredients, supplies, time, and costs of doing business. Those prices are generally the same prices they charge regardless of which market they attend. The market does not set or control individual vendor pricing.
As for the question of “How is this a farmers market?” — we are proud to be a community farmers market that welcomes a variety of local small businesses, makers, food vendors, artisans, and agricultural vendors. Our goal is to continue growing and bringing even more fresh produce and agricultural vendors to Terrytown.
We are actively working to recruit additional fresh produce vendors and expand the variety available at the market. 🥬🍅🌽
Please remember that markets grow over time. We are still a relatively young market, (less than 1 yr old) and every vendor and customer who participates helps us build something better for our community. ❤️
Thank you to everyone who continues to support, shop, share, recommend us, and encourage our vendors. We appreciate you more than you know!

Just a few reminders.
- All registered Vendors must respond Going or NOT GOING to every scheduled Market to avoid being marked as withdrawn from our vendor list.

To help us keep the Terrytown Farmers Market clean, organized, professional, and welcoming:

• Tablecloths: Must cover the tabletop and extend down to cover table legs.

• Store items not used UNDER TABLES: Boxes, totes, coolers, extra inventory, and other supplies must be stored neatly under tables, out of sight, or in your vehicle.

• Keep Areas Neat & Safe: Nothing unnecessary should be left on the ground or in walkways. Keep merchandise on tables and supplies tucked underneath until needed.

• Arrival & Breakdown: Vendors must be completely set up by 10:00 AM and may not begin breaking down before 2:00 PM. Please remain set up and ready to serve customers for the full market.

Additional Vendor Reminders
• Cancellations: Cancellations made within 5 days of the market, except for emergencies or illness, may affect our ability to guarantee your space placement or maintain exclusivity for your primary product category at future events. This may result in additional vendors with similar offerings being accepted.

• Indoor Spaces: Indoor space is in high demand and limited to 20 spots, with an active waitlist. Any indoor vendor who is a no call/no show will forfeit their indoor placement, and the space will be offered to the next vendor on the waitlist. Vendors who lose their indoor spot may still participate outdoors if space is available.

• Participation: Vendors are expected to participate in at least one market per month to help maintain consistency and reliability for our customers and fellow vendors.

Timely responses help us plan vendor placement and ensure we have a strong market for our community.
