At today's meeting, we were delighted to hear from Eileen White, Manager of The Dalles Farmers Market, about the exciting season ahead and the incredible impact the market has on our community.

The Dalles Farmers Market is much more than a place to shop, it's a vibrant gathering place where local growers, producers, artisans, and community members come together to celebrate the abundance of our region. Every Saturday from June through October, City Park comes alive with colorful vendor booths, fresh seasonal produce, handcrafted goods, delicious baked treats, and so much more.

From crisp apples and juicy peaches to fresh-picked vegetables grown using sustainable practices, the market offers an opportunity to support local agriculture while enjoying some of the freshest foods available. Visitors can also discover unique handmade crafts, jewelry, pottery, home décor, honey, preserves, and gourmet specialties created by talented local vendors.

We learned about the many new vendors and activities planned for this season and the important role the market plays in supporting small businesses, connecting neighbors, and strengthening our local economy.
