My daughter in Christ Enisha Brewster from the hit movie “Footloose” and Halo After Dawn is participating in a Survivor Mud 5k run for the Somaly Mam Foundation. This foundation is a nonprofit charity that rescues, shelters, and rehabilitates women and girls who have who have been the victims of s*x trafficking. UNICEF estimates over two million women and children are sold into slavery each year. This unspeakable crime has grown exponentially and will continue to grow unless good people take on this challenge against evil and say “no more.”

See the impact your dollars will make:
$25 is the cost of one month of training materials for a survivor to learn skills in one or more areas: sewing, hairdressing, weaving, computer training, English, life skills, small business management and agriculture.
$30 is a gift of health to a young survivor - a crucial exam and blood test for a girl rescued.
$54 is the cost per month to provide a resident with three nutritious meals per day, including rice, meat or fish and vegetables at each meal.
$120 helps provide a survivor with a year’s worth of specialized training in weaving, sewing, or other vocational skills that will help her get a job and stay employed.
$135 covers all services and provisions for one survivor for one month, including food, accommodation, education and training, hygiene kits, clothing, and recreational activities.
