Some stores are offering special deals and such, but me? I went all out. I'm offering up my first-born son...😂 well, at least his incredible food. Check it out, it looks deliscious. He will be offering samples from 5:30-6:30 at The Cheese Market.

MIZITHRA-Anyone feeling adventurous? I ordered 3 of these for the store because someone told me they were waiting for me to bring in a Greek cheese and this was their favorite. This is the harder version for grating on pasta, are you up for trying something new?
Mizithra (or Myzithra) is a historic Greek whey cheese crafted from the milk and whey of sheep, goats, or both. Primarily associated with the island of Crete, it has been produced in Greece for thousands of years. Depending on how it is processed and aged, it ranges from a soft, sweet spread to a hard, salty grating cheese.

I have been waiting to introduce this cheese until just the right time, and here it is! The tomatoes are ripe and the basil is plentiful.
Burrata; similar to fresh mozzerella, but creamier, due to the buffalo milk.
Buffalo mozzarella is a solid, elastic cheese made purely from water buffalo milk, offering a tangy, grassy, and savory flavor. Burrata starts as a mozzarella shell, but is hollowed out and stuffed with stracciatella (shredded cheese curds mixed with fresh cream). This gives burrata a rich, buttery interior that spills out when sliced.
Try it with fresh tomato and basil and a little balsamic glaze or perhaps on a bed of your favorite greens with this crushed strawberry vinegar, fresh strawberries and toasted pecans.

Well, if you have wanted to try a great Hickory Smoked Gouda, I have just the opportunity! I guess the Smoked Gouda sits on the shelf next to the Hatch Chile Pepper Gouda, which I also carry, and it accidentally made it into my order for the week. Let's give it a try!

Landjaegers from Monroe, WI We have the Original and the Door County Cherry. Come in today and give them a try.
It looks like there is alot going on in 3 Lakes today: The Man Cave and the Thrift Store are open, along with several garage sales. The Shoot Out (boat races) is happening out near Sunset Grill on highway 32. There is a truck with plants and veggies next to the thrift store. Sorry if I missed anyone. This is just what I passed on my way into work this morning! Have a great weekend.
