Every day employees go through the produce, put fresh out and reduce items when needed. (look for the pink stickers.) Every Wed. Molyet's receives a large shipment of Amish pies and bakes goods from Troyer's and Hershberger's Bakeries. In the Fall we have local apples from Eschelman's in Clyde. Honey Crisp apples can't get here fast enough! Summer time is really the good stuff! Homegrown watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries(sorry those are done already, but we get em!)blueberries, peaches, apricots, plums, sweet cherries, and nectarines. Homegrown beans, cabbage, beets, Tennessee Tomatoes, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, green and red peppers, cucumbers, pickles and corn. Fresh corn EVERY day when we start getting it!! (If you cant find me, look in the bin:) Now, what everyone has been waiting on...to hear what ED does ALL day! When Spring arrives it's time to get the greenhouses ready. So much work! Once we're ready to roll, Ed drives to Michigan to load up the truck. Several times a week during early-mid spring. He will ONLY and i repeat, ONLY bring the best flowers/veggies and plants back w him. Yes, he will walk greenhouse after greenhouse to find what he wants! We also receive nursery stock items from Willoway Nurseries. Only the finest trees, shrubs and perennials make it on that truck, too! Our greenhouses are known best for the highest quality in the surrounding areas, and of course the MUSIC while you are here! Ed really loves to rock it out, although this year we listened to the 80's more!?! Sundays are Classic Rock only! Customers drive from as far as Findlay, Toledo, Cleveland, Columbus, Fremont, Clyde, and Fostoria to shop the greenhouses.
