📺 Growing up in the 90s, Saturday morning had a whole different meaning.

You got up early for cartoons…

But you also knew there was a VERY good chance somebody was going to walk through the room and say:

“When that goes off, I need you outside.” 😂

And just like that, Saturday morning cartoons turned into carrying feed, cleaning something, picking something up or following Dad around the farm.

What cartoon were you trying to finish before you got put to work? 😂

🚜 Sometimes I wonder what my kids will remember about growing up on the farm.

Will they remember the early mornings?

Getting dirty five minutes after going outside?

Being told, “Shut the gate!” approximately 47,000 times? 😂

Will they remember riding along while we worked, feeding animals, and hearing conversations about cattle, weather and hay that probably meant absolutely nothing to them at the time?

I hope they do.

Because someday they'll understand that they weren't just watching us work.

They were watching us build something for them. ❤️
