There would be no Topanga Farmers Market without the Topanga Community Center. ❤️
While many people know the TCC as the beautiful home of our Friday market, what many don’t realize is that the Community Center is also our official fiscal sponsor — meaning the Farmers Market is now part of the TCC nonprofit family. Over the past 2½ years, the TCC has not only given us a place to gather, but has helped guide, support, and sustain the market through every challenge we’ve faced.
From navigating the uncertainty of launching a brand new community market… to helping us survive the aftermath of the fires, road closures, and difficult months of recovery — the TCC has stood beside us every step of the way. Their belief in this market, and in the importance of community gathering spaces, is the reason we are still here every Friday morning welcoming neighbors, supporting local farms, and creating connection in the canyon.
The Topanga Community Center does so much for this community far beyond the Farmers Market. They preserve one of the canyon’s most important gathering spaces and make beloved traditions like Topanga Days possible — a celebration that represents the heart, creativity, resilience, and spirit of this community. 🛠️🎶🌿
