As many of you know, our butcher shop is “on farm”. The pork we put through the shop is raised here while the beef we put through the shop is raised by a family friend down in Fayette County (about 35 miles away). The other side to being “on farm” is that we do have other animals. Sometimes those animals might play Houdini and escape a boundary while others have free range and no proper understanding of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Please be aware when driving up the lane and around the parking area that it’s kitten season and we have 1 senior dog as well as two that have a bit of a toddler mentality. Please drive slow, honk and keep your eyes open so no one has a bad day at the shop/farm.
We appreciate your business. (PS-if you’re afraid of dogs but would like to come out, please msg and I will kennel the canines for your well being. They have been trained not to jump but I don’t want anyone feeling distress coming here.)
