This Easter weekend, we’re dockin’ our egg-laden ship at the roadside stand as usual, but with a little extra bounty of treasure sure to shiver yer timbers:

• Farm-fresh treasured eggs straight from our coop’s crow’s nest—beautifully multicolored and rivalin’ the Easter Bunny’s finest stash!

Ahoy there, friends and fellow adventurers! The scrappy crew of Chicken Feet Fleet Farm is hoistin’ the sails and chartin’ a course for a grand St. Patty’s celebration this weekend at Tremont Lodge & Resort!

The good folks at the lodge are hostin’ a lively evening called Shamrocks & Shenanigans, where the harbor will be full of:
🍔 Visiting food trucks (plenty of grub for hungry deckhands)
🎲 Games and merry mischief
🛍 Local vendors peddlin’ their finest treasures
🍀 Good company worthy of any tavern along the seven seas

Our farm crew will be docked among the vendors with a hold full of farm-fresh plunder, including:

💜 Wild violet jelly brewed from freshly foraged blossoms

Ahoy mateys!

This be the final sail before Christmas, and the Fleet has stocked the galley with some extra-special seasonal treasures alongside our trusty eggs. 🎄🐓

✨ New on deck:
• 🍃 Roost Ridge Pine Jelly – brewed from foraged local Eastern White Pine needles, bright, woodsy, and tasting like Christmas wrapped in a pine bough. If the Smokies had a holiday toast, this would be slathered on it.
• 🫐 Wild Smoky Mountain Blackberry Jam – made from foraged wild blackberries right in these very hills, deep and rich, like summer memories tucked into a winter jar.

🍞 Also aboard this weekend:
Fresh breads, perfect for slathering with jam, sharing at holiday tables, or guarding fiercely from hungry deckhands.

🥚 And of course, our usual farm-fresh eggs are standing at attention, ready to report for breakfast duty.

🏴‍☠️ Ahoy, from Chicken Feet Fleet Farm! 🐔⚓️

It’s been a spell since we’ve sent word from the coop, but we’ve been sailin’ some new seas! On July 18th, our newest little crewmate, Wren Harlan, joined the fleet — a bright-eyed first mate who’s already stealing hearts faster than a seagull snatches a french fry. 💛

Around the same time, we had a couple of chicks hatch — the first ever born right here on the farm! Talk about a double dose of new life on deck! 🐣🌾

A few of ye have been wonderin’ if we’re still sellin’ eggs — aye, we surely are! The egg stand be open Saturdays and Sundays, and sometimes on weekdays if the winds (and the hens) be generous. If the OPEN sign be up, we’ve got eggs ready for ye. 🥚

For now, our other treasures — sourdough, jams, and marshmallows — be takin’ a wee break while the crew adjusts to life with our tiniest captain. We’ll hoist those sails again soon enough! ⛵️

And one last note from the heart o’ the ship: if anyone in our community is impacted by the defunding of SNAP benefits, please send us a message or stop by the stand. We’d be honored to share our eggs with you, no charge. No one in our port should go without. 💛

So here’s to fall breezes, full nests, and fresh eggs — the fleet sails on, one sunrise (and one diaper change) at a time. 🌅🐥

This June, our sails be high and our hearts be full as we chart a course for love, inclusion, and egg-cellence for ALL hands aboard. No matter yer flag or how ye steer, ye’ve got a place on our ship! 🏴‍☠️💛

In honor of Pride Month, we’ve donated a share of this month’s bounty to Appalachian OUTreach , a mighty nonprofit serving LGBTQ+ folks across East Tennessee and beyond. Their compass points true toward equality, dignity, and belonging — and we’re proud to support their voyage. 🌟

A Father’s Day Salute from Chicken Feet Fleet Farm! ⚓️🦜

Ahoy, mateys! On this fine Father’s Day, we tip our tricorn hats and raise a toast of sweet tea to all the fine fathers out there—steadfast captains, wise navigators, and fearless protectors of their little crews.

A special aye aye to our very own First Mate, a true legend among landlubbers and sea dogs alike! He’s the bravest keeper of our feathered and furry flock, tender guardian of the coop, and a mighty fine papa to our crowing rooster and HENtiful crew. And soon, he’ll be settin’ sail on a brand-new voyage—fatherhood of the human kind, with our first wee hatchling due to arrive ashore in the coming weeks!

To the dads who rise early, steer the ship steady, and still find time to patch sails, toss feed, and wrangle wild chickens—we see ye, we salute ye, and we thank ye.

Aye aye, mateys! 🐔⚓️ The Chicken Feet Fleet Farm eggstand announces new hours fer the season—now sailin’ Saturdays & Sundays only, from 9 bells in the mornin’ ‘til the sun dips below the horizon! 🌅 And if you haven’t heard, the cicadas be singin’ their battle cry loud and clear out here in Dry Valley—so don’t be startled by the commotion’ as ye approach the coop! 🪰⚔️

This weekend’s bounty includes fresh eggs fit for a captain’s breakfast and hearty bread to keep yer bellies full on the high seas. 🍞🥚
