od security, and fosters a welcoming, family-friendly space. East Bay Corners Farmers Market accepts SNAP benefits. The Market will open on June 5, 2025 and run until October 2, 2025. It will be held on Thursdays from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at the Township Hall at 1965 N. 3 Mile Road Traverse City, MI 49696.

Ever wondered what itโ€™s like inside an ambulance? Come check out East Bay Ambulance this Saturday, April 11 at Family Fun Day at YMCA Hayo-Went-Ha Camps at Lake Arbutus.

The free event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and includes arts and crafts, music and storytelling, giveaways, lunch, and more.

East Bay Ambulance will be on site with an ambulance for kids to explore, along with helpful information and fun giveaways.

East Bay Township is continuing its work to improve safe, accessible connections throughout the community with the development of the Safe Routes to School Trail. This project will link four schools, nearby neighborhoods, and key destinations such as the Township Hall, Farmers Market, and East Bay Branch Library. A new Civic Plaza is also planned along the trail, just east of the True North gas station, creating a welcoming space for community gathering.

Preparatory work will begin in early April, including the removal of select trees necessary for construction within the project area. Tree removal is expected to be completed by April 14, 2026, with stump removal following through May 5, 2026. Trail construction is scheduled to begin in June 2026.

Once complete, the trail will provide more than 2,000 students with a safer, more accessible route to school, while strengthening connections throughout the East Bay Corners area.

Vendor applications open March 16 for the East Bay Corners Farmers Market.

Weโ€™re looking for local farmers, food producers, and artisans to join us this season. The market returns June 4 and will be held Thursdays from 2โ€“6 PM at the East Bay Township Offices.

New this year, the market will also participate in the Grand Traverse County Senior Produce Program, helping more residents access fresh, local food.
