Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a way for consumers to buy local, seasonal produce from a farmer in their community. In exchange for purchasing a "share" of the CSA, consumers receive all-natural, fresh, homegrown vegetables from our farm. Shares are meant to feed 2-4 people and are picked up weekly by the member. All produce provided through the CSA is grown on our farm and is picked fresh daily! Our CSA season consists of 22 weeks, Late May-Late October.

Summer is NOT over at Schaefers! 🍅

We picked SO many tomatoes yesterday, and we didn’t even make it through the patch! We’ll finish that up today, along with both high tunnels.

Need Romas? We’ve got over 600 lbs available right now in 5, 10, 20, and 25 lb boxes.

Our #2 heirlooms and yellows are taking over the back shelf, too. 10 lb boxes are just $12!

Once we finish picking, we’ll get all the red tomatoes graded. Regular canning tomatoes should be on the shelf later today.

The market was busy today, and we are so grateful for every single person who chose to spend part of their holiday shopping with us. Thank you for keeping us busy and supporting our farm and small business!

The day started at 5:45 am with headlamps and headlights. We closed the market at 3, but the work definitely didn’t end there. Our entire crew spent the afternoon and evening picking pumpkins, watermelons, cantaloupe. We wrapped up the day with watering mums, scouting fields, and checking on the cattle.

So before Labor Day comes to an end, here’s to all the hardworking farmers. And a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported ours today ❤️🌾🚜

The greenhouses are jam packed with beautiful mums and a large variety of other fall flowers. Oh, and pumpkins are starting to pile in too! 🎃 🌼
