Still kind of surreal seeing Penn Grows featured by Localish 💚🌱

What started as a passion for growing nutrient-dense microgreens has grown into something so much bigger—food, skincare, wellness, pet products, and constant innovation. We’ve always believed microgreens are more than a garnish… they’re ingredients for possibility.

Grateful for the spotlight, the journey, and everyone cheering us on as we keep growing (literally 😄).

Last night was a special one for Penn Grows 🌱✨

Our own Mitch Cherny had the honor of presenting Penn Grows Microgreens to the American Culinary Federation Philadelphia Delaware Valley Chefs Association, sharing the power of microgreens, nutrient density, flavor innovation, and how hyper-local growing can help shape the future of food.

To be recognized for educating culinary professionals who influence what ends up on plates across our region? That’s the kind of seed we love planting. 🌱👨‍🍳

From chefs tasting our microgreens to conversations about nutrition, sustainability, and fresh food innovation, this was exactly why Penn Grows exists—to connect farming, education, and community in meaningful ways.

Huge thank you to the ACF Philadelphia DVCA and Walnut Hill College for the warm welcome, creativity, and an unforgettable “trip to Paris” evening. 🇫🇷✨
