..... Good Morning!! I wanted to let everyone know that tomorrow will be our last day operating Owens Produce selling produce for this season.
It has been my pleasure supplying our community with quality farm fresh produce this year.
I will be opening up 2-3 Saturdays in October selling pumpkins, cornstalks, wheat straw and mums.
THANK YOU again for all your support of my first business venture.
I look forward to next year growing my business and serving you again!

Tomato Cracker Salad

An easy Southern appetizer, snack, or lunch- this 'salad' features garden fresh tomatoes, buttery crackers, and sliced green onions in a creamy mayo dressing- like a deconstructed tomato sandwich.

Ingredients
4 medium sized tomatoes, preferably fresh off the vine
1 sleeve saltine crackers, coarsely broken
1 small bunch green onions, thinly sliced
1/2-3/4 cup real mayonnaise
salt & freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
Optional: sliced pickled jalapenos, & a hard-boiled egg

Instructions
To a medium sized mixing bowl, add the tomatoes & mayo. Gently stir, just until evenly incorporated and the tomatoes are well coated. Salt & pepper, to taste, but using much more pepper than salt.

Stir in the crackers & onions, again just until evenly incorporated. Serve right away, either as is or with lettuce leaves for wraps.

We have perfect tomatoes that are ready to be canned! 🍅

Canning whole tomatoes takes some time, but it's easy and anyone with a surplus of tomatoes can do it. This recipe is all it takes.

We have corn, ploutes, watermelons (yellow and red), tomatoes, okra, cucumbers, squash, tomatoes, peaches, pineapples, strawberries, baking potatoes, new potatoes, sweet potatoes, cherries, and also cantaloupes the size of heads 😂

A wide variety today at the market! White peaches, yellow watermelons, seeded and seedless watermelons, apples, cherries, strawberries, squash, okra, pineapples, cucumbers, tomatoes green and red, cantaloupe, corn, and Mawmaw Kathy’s homemade fudge!

We would love to see you today at the produce stand! We are here till 6 ☺️
