Tanya loves teaching and helping her community. She has run her own business for 9 years, where she teaches families about money and helps them plan for their future.

Right now, Tanya is an elected official in Pittstown, a founding member of Community Life Support and still on their board, and a key strategist and Trustee for the Greater Hoosic Valley Community Business Alliance. When asked why she took on another leadership role, Tanya said, “To fill a need. Entrepreneurs in our community want more chances to connect with customers. We need to create ways to make the best use of their limited time and resources. Local people helping local businesses is the perfect way to make a positive impact on more lives!”

Tanya is no stranger to entrepreneurship. Nine years ago she made a dramatic career change, leaving a successful career in Higher Education she started a career in Financial Services to be able to help families see immediate and longer range impact in achieving financial goals. Dedicated to the principles of teaching, she helps individuals and families achieve their financial dreams.

The first LaPosta Brother's Market started in 1923 in Troy. Then, in the early 80s, they opened another one in Speigletown.

If you grew up nearby, you probably have awesome memories of this special place! We'd love to hear about them!
