R & G Cheese Makers Our products are made in Troy, NY by cheese maker, Sean O'Connor. We offer a full line of artisan cheeses, both cow and goat's milk, as well as yogurt.

The milk we use is sourced by local farmers in the Hudson and Mohawk Valley. R & G cheeses and yogurts can be found at:

The Berry Farm (Chatham);
Chatham Co-Op (Chatham);
Grand Cru (Rhinebeck); and


We participate in various Farmers Markets too. We are at the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market, Great Bar

In light of the recent government shutdown, many of our community members are facing the sudden loss of SNAP benefits. At Schenectady Greenmarket, we remain committed to ensuring that everyone can continue accessing fresh, local food.

Contributions to our Food Box program help cover the cost for those unable to pay during this time, keeping nutritious, locally grown food within reach for all.

Right now SNAP is ever changing, very unclear and it is not certain when benefits will be available and even then how much will become available. All across the Capital Region organizations are trying to help the situation. Here at the Market our Vendors continue to take any SNAP tokens and Fresh Connect that are in circulation and we can still issue these if you have a balance. Check in with us at the Market Table and we can help you with up to $50 in market tokens straight from the us to you.
