WE RUCK TO REMEMBER. WE HONOR. WE NEVER FORGET.

On Saturday, September 12, 2026, the Asheboro Fire Department invites our community to join us for the 2026 Memorial Ruck as we honor the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice during the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

Together with firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, military members, and community supporters, we’ll ruck 9.11 miles in remembrance of those who gave everything and to ensure their legacy is never forgotten.

🇺🇸 Everyone is welcome.
Whether you’re an experienced rucker, a first responder, a veteran, or simply someone who wants to honor our nation’s heroes, we invite you to walk beside us.
