Glenshire General Store We have Beer, wine, fresh prepared burritos and sandwiches, as well as organic produce & groceries. Gooches for many years.

For the past six years, the Glenshire General Store has been owned and operated by Sheri and Mack McDaniel. Before owning the store, the McDaniels owned a distributing business, which serviced convenience stores in Northern California and Nevada for almost 20 years. Sheri and Mack moved to Glenshire 22 years ago, during this time, Sheri and Mack raised many German Shepards in addition to their two

children, Casey and Allie, who both currently work at the store. The distributing business gave the McDaniels much of the needed experience to run the store smoothly and efficiently. However, their additional experience in the health food industry has had the effect of bringing in many organic and eco friendly products on the shelfs of the store. While living in the San Fernando valley, Sheri worked at a health food store called Mrs. It was at this store that Sheri and Mack first met. The McDaniels have used their previous experiences to supply the Glenshire area with a store stocked with all of their grocery needs as well as provide healthy, organic, and environmental friendly options. They try hard to accommodate and service the needs of their customers. They love to take in suggestions or special requests. Stop by to get some groceries, a coffee, or a fresh sandwich from the deli and say hi!

We couldn’t let this beautiful weather go to waste. We’re hosting a pop-up BBQ at the Glenshire General Store TODAY! We’ve got hotdogs on the grill and cold drinks in the cooler. Come grab lunch and enjoy the vibes. Open until 4:30 pm today.

Thinking about spices today…
Often, I buy taco seasoning or other spice blends without realizing I already have everything I need in the pantry.
Heres a neat infographic I found to help demystify the mixes a bit.
Ive found it to be empowering to make my own mixes and not rely on packets. Sure my family gets their tacos a little extra spicy from time to time, but that’s the spice of life!

What’s for dinner?
Here’s one of my easiest go-to meals!
These frozen chicken breasts air-fried make great chicken sandwiches. But I also like to chop em up, sauce em, and make some no-hassle Asian food. It isnt fancy, but this meal can be made in less time than it takes to drive to Panda Express.
