Trumansburg Farmers Market In 2001, with the assistance of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County, a farmers' market was formed in the Village of Trumansburg.

Enjoy live music, supper and shopping at the community-built pavilions and lawn tents for fresh locally grown produce, naturally raised meats, eggs, flowers, plants, crafts and products. The goal of the market was to provide local growers a place to introduce themselves to the community and provide fresh, healthy, local produce. Due to the growth and success of the Farmers' Market in the five year

s since its inception, and in recognition of its ever-increasing value to the community, the Village Board of Trustees passed a resolution in June 2007 to formalize the Village’s relationship with the Market - agreeing to act as the Market's official sponsor for the indefinite future.

For more than 16 years, Delta Mike Shaw, one of Upstate New York’s premier guitarists, has braved all weathers to grace us at the Trumansburg Farmers’ Market. He’s a stalwart, brilliant musician and raconteur and a much-loved part of our community. This week, June 10th, we’re welcoming his trio with Joel Warren on bass guitar and Joe Hartnet on harmonica and pedal steel, playing semi-acoustic Delta and original blues.
There’ll be powerhouse picking and vocals. From the 70s on, these three musicians collectively have appeared on major stages and recorded with an array of luminaries including Atlanta Rhythm Section, Papa John Creech, NRBQ, Stevie Ray Vaughan, the Drifters, Chuck Berry, Bobby Comstock, Bo Diddley, the Flamingos, Little Anthony, Freddy Fender, Third Eye Blind, Ron Hackers Fabulous Hacksaws, and Hillbilly Thunder Machine. We’re lucky they’ve made their homes in the Finger Lakes!

Sommers, Manning, & Davies features Naomi Sommers’ fine vocals, guitar playing, and songwriting, accompanied by Rick Manning on mandolin, fiddle, and vocals and Dave Davies on vocals and bass.
